Manaiakalani T.O.D

 

Teachers from the Manaiakalani Cluster came together today to share manaaki, kia and knowledge.  This Teacher Only Day focused on the 'Create' facet of our kaupapa.

We were able to hear from Dr Craig Hansen, who shared his expertise in the place of AI in education.  He shared some great insights into the way to harness AI to support teachers in a creative way that supports the individual needs and interests of our learners.  I was particularly interested to learn about AI sites which reference the NZ curriculum such as Teachaid and Eduaide.

This informative talk was followed by two fantastic workshops which allowed us to get hands on with  technological tools to foster the creative genius of our students.
