KPMG Hui - August
This term our KPMG hui was a hybrid event with two of our team joining virtually, however we were still able to make the most of our time working on our MIT projects.
Our focus for this meeting was preparing for the upcoming Cook Islands Teachers summit. This Summit is a very exciting opportunity to present our MIT design projects to teachers from NZ and the Cook Islands. So with this in mind we worked to create Pecha Kucha styled presentations. The Pecha Kucha is a quick fire presentation of 20 slides which are displayed for only 20 seconds. As a speaker this really challenges you to refine your message down to the key points and create eye catching slides which communicate your message in a simple concise visual. It was a task that certainly kept us busy for the entire day.
It was very beneficial to be able to present our first draft Pecha Kucha to KPMG Senior Manager of Corporate Citizenship, Justine Todd. She gave us all some valuable feedback to fine tune our presentations. Thanks so much for sharing your words of wisdom, Justine.
