Manaiakalani Share Staff Meeting

Another busy week of teaching has sped past, with this winters all too common occurrences,  a sick day and two wet lunchtimes.  However the highlight of week 4 was our Monday, Manaiakalani Share Staff Meeting.  With the magic of Google meet we were able to join with teachers from Manaiakalani schools around the motu to discuss our inquiry topics and what is top of mind for us at the moment.

It is true to say that a problem shared is a problem halved.  There is little more comforting to hear that other teachers are facing the same issues as you.  I am always uplifted by the generousity of spirit teachers show for each other when sharing strategies and pedagogical approaches to fixing our classroom challenges.

This meet was especially meaningful for me as it was my first as the group facilitator.  So nga mihi tatou, to all the wonderful teachers who joined our meet and shared so freely.
