Design thinking - Ideation
Saturday was another beautiful day in Kuaotunu. I really enjoyed meeting my fellow MITer's, and the opportunity to have their support and input into my project.
This final session of our seaside Hui was a chance to consolidate our thinking from the other sessions and come up with 8 possible solutions to our newly refined challenges.
The first few came thick and fast and most of us found thinking of the final few quite hard work. It was helpful to be able to refer back to the suggestions made by everyone in yesterdays interpretation session.
When we had come up with all our ideas they were displayed to allow for feedback. We each went around and read the 8 ideas and placed stickers on the ones we liked. The next challenge was to go back and mark each one which we considered to be the best.
I was pleased to see that my first idea was the one which received the most positive feedback. However Dorothy was quick to point out that this was just feedback and we were not locked into the results. She also shared with us the possibility of merging some of the ideas into one solution. So watch this space!
