Jamboard toolkit

 

With the obvious challenges this term has given us as teachers I thought that Phil's Jamboard toolkit would be a great way for me to upskill on this google platform.  Having had Phil as a mentor during last years DFI I know that always presents information in a practical and fun way.  That was certainly true of this tool kit.  Phil shared the basics of setting up and using a Jamboard both in the classroom and during distance learning.  He then provided many practical examples of engaging learning tasks which can be delivered on a Jamboard.  I found his tip of making backgrounds in slides and then transferring over really helpful.  I can see lots of opportunities to use jamboards in my chromebook class for the types of learning activities I would previously delivered on Explain Everything in my ipad class.
